1. Who we are
Fireside Tales ("we", "us") is an independent creator project that publishes narrated Warcraft lore videos on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. These terms cover this website, thefiresidetales.com, and our private publishing tool, Fireside Pipeline. Contact: fantasy.lore.animation@gmail.com.
2. Scope
By using this website you accept these terms. Fireside Pipeline is an internal tool operated only by the Fireside Tales team to post content to accounts we own. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and no third party can use it. The sections about the tool exist so that the platforms it connects to (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) can review how we operate.
3. Use of the website
The website is informational. You may read and link to it. You may not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use automated tools to scrape it at a rate that affects its availability.
4. Intellectual property
- Our scripts, narration, artwork, video edits and this website are our own work and are protected by copyright. Reuse requires our written permission, except for short quotations with attribution.
- Lore facts are taken from community-maintained reference works published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licences. Each video credits its sources in its description.
- World of Warcraft, Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Our videos are fan works made in line with Blizzard's published video and fan content policies. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
5. AI-assisted content
Narration voices, images and animated clips in our videos are created with the help of generative AI tools under our direction. Where a platform offers an AI-content label, we apply it. Nothing in our videos depicts real people or real events.
6. Fireside Pipeline and platform rules
When Fireside Pipeline posts to a platform on our behalf, that platform's own terms apply to the content, including the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Meta Terms of Service. We use each platform's official API, within its published policies, only for our own accounts.
7. No warranties
The website and our videos are provided as they are, for entertainment and information. We do not guarantee that lore summaries are complete or free of error; Warcraft's story has been revised many times and sources disagree.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our videos. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the new version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes are subject to the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
